Aamir-Kareena's Kagti film to release next year!

There were quite a few speculations regarding the release date of Aamir Khan's under production film with Excel Entertainment (directed by Reema Kagti), with the most preposterous one being that the film was all set to release on Christmas along side Shahrukh Khan's DON 2.

Some gullible Bollywood buffs did buy the theory since Aamir Khan has off late, released his films during Christmas and we all know that SRK's DON 2 is all set to arrive this Christmas as well. But if that had actually happened, it could certainly have been called the clash of the titans and we can only term this as fertile imagination as both the films are being produced by the same banner, Excel Entertainment, and that is why the chances of them clashing at the turnstile and harming each other's box office-prospects was indeed a figment of imagination.

However, we now have news from our reliable trade sources that Aamir Khan's suspense thriller is unlikely to release this year and it will now hit the screens early 2012.

Tusshar on SHOR: I am playing an edgy character

SHOR - IN THE CITY is getting all set to release and while one waits to see what exactly does the film's unassuming narrative leads the viewer to, what can be rest assured is that this appears to be yet another film where Tusshar Kapoor would be seen in a new light altogether as an actor.

"Well, you can say that", Tusshar brings in a smile here; "I have always played those positive naughty loveable characters in most of my films. This is the first time ever that I am playing an edgy character. In SHOOT OUT AT LOKHANDWALA, I was more of a wild and furious character. Here I am far more stable minded and grounded. When compared to other characters in SHOR IN THE CITY though, I am slightly darker."

He denies going overtly dramatic for his part though and insists that there is a humane side to him as well in SHOR IN THE CITY. He attributes this to the fact that in the film, he is playing a married man.
