Mahie Gill, who has been known for her realistic performances, has gone one step ahead in getting into the skin of her character, for her upcoming film which is an edgy political thriller, directed by Vivek Agnihotri.
Mahie's role required her to be in short hair, but after trying out many different looks and wigs, Vivek finally convinced Mahie, to get her hair cut and Mahie did follow her director's orders. Being a sardarni, Mahie took the bold step and has chopped off her luscious hair.
Well we guess when the male actors can experiment with their looks for their films, then why should their female counterparts be left behind. |

In a candid chat with host Komal Nahta, Kangana Ranaut confessed that as an outsider - an actor without industry pedigree - she felt angry at the ones who had it.
'I'm angry at some people in the industry. If the star kids fly a kite, so much is written about it. And when people like me win international awards, we are ignored. People from the industry send gifts to mediapersons' homes, invite them for dinners, send money to them...90% media toh unke chacha, taya, betiyaan aur boyfriend se bhaare huye hain! Outsiders like me are left out because, 'She's not blue blood naah'!' fired Kangana. |
